Shortly after Litchfield opened local film maker Luis Valdizon approached me about doing a short piece to launch his creative project. Luis wanted to create a fresh directory for people, places, and ideas in Vancouver so I was flattered to be included, let alone the inaugural piece for www.whentheyfindus.com. After spending time discussing the philosophy and aesthetic of the shop, I made an uncharacteristic move and handed all creative control over to Luis and the result was a beautiful two and a half minute video scored by the talented Blake Powell.
